ABOUT

Anita had the good fortune to move to Colorado when she was 11 years old. She instantly fell in love with Colorado. Anita's parents owned and operated their own small business, instilling in Anita a strong work ethic and respect for the entrepreneurial spirit.

Anita’s spirit of service started early. She even met her husband at a presentation after her service trip to Mexico with Habitat for Humanity.

Anita and her husband Matt have three children: Phoebe, Ian and Katie.  As a mother and City Councilor, Anita is always motivated to protect and improve the quality of life on behalf of her family, her neighbors, and all Westminster residents.  Like most Westminster residents, Anita’s family frequents the local parks, festivals, libraries and recreation programs. Anita knows firsthand how important high quality, affordable programming is for a strong community.
